INTRODUCING: VWSA has over the years worked
hard at grass roots level in the community to identify and recognise
strong NGOs already functioning optimally within the Metro and we have
partnered with many of them to provide services and support.
Volkswagen Trustees serve on the
boards of these NGOs in order to help improve their capacity levels and
encourage best-practice management. In addition to long term partnerships
we have established with various such NGO’s, we also make ad hoc donations
to additional deserving NGO’s.
However, there are still countless
NGO’s and community projects that are in need of more support. In order to
give voice to these needs in the community, we have initiated an exciting
new platform to ensure that no deserving community project or NGO is
overlooked.
Our suppliers are in part directly
responsible for this initiative – for years you have been contacting VWSA
requesting linkages to active and deserving projects which may benefit
from your annual CSI investments.

The answer to these needs is NGO Connect. • Profile registered NGO’s in the Metro We invite you to utilise this platform to further
the empowerment and upliftment of our local communities.
Please visit www.vwct.co.za Here you will be introduced to the NGO Connect
concept and will be presented with a listing of all NGO’s currently
registered with the Volkswagen Community Trust – all are in need and
deserving of support.
We also encourage you to browse the Volkswagen
Community Trust website. In each of our Key Focus Areas of Health,
Education, Community Wellbeing, Youth and Sustainability, you will be
introduced to the real situation our communities are facing today. On the
bright side, read the Success Stories to see how easy it is to make a
positive difference!
Trusting that you will receive this invitation Yours sincerely, Weza Moss |
